At Sproutd, we are crazy about sprouted foods. Not only that, we also care about how our food is made. Our blends are minimally processed by gently drying and milling after sprouting the seeds.
We also don’t believe in eating any foods that we cannot pronounce which is why you will never find any preservatives or fillers in our blends. It makes us happy to care about our health and hope it does to you too!
Why protein + iron?
A unique blend of sprouts that delivers much more than just protein, with nutrients such as iron and vitamin C. Iron helps to carry oxygen into muscles and vitamin C aids the absorption of iron.
Alfalfa sprouts have been used as the main protein source given almost 50% of its weight is protein.
Protein per serving of our blend is equivalent to:
- 1 serving of almonds (28g)
- 0.7 cup of cooked quinoa
The sprouting process unlocks nutrients by breaking down components such as phytate and starch, resulting in better digestion and absorption of nutrients. Research has shown the bioavailability of some nutrients also increases after the sprouting process.
